Quite a day.. To explain all the rumors, this site and a related site were issued a "cease and desist" order from Pearl Jam's lawyers. It all boils down to the fact that the Pearl Jam members do not want their image, i.e. videos, to be spread. They are all about the music. This has nothing to do with the Ten Club or Synergy or Pearl Jam management trying to be assholes, they're just following through with the band's intentions. So please, do not get on their cases about it and lets all settle down. Yes, it's slightly disappointing, but not the end of the world. At the least, everyone should cease spreading/distributing all videos and other copyrighted materials (birdman, etc). I will explain how this will impact this site and others later.. But, at the least, I hope to continue spreading live music on this site and through the Direct Connect hub. Talk of petitions and such are just plain silly, as Pearl Jam has said for a long time that videos are not ok to be spread - many of us were just hoping that they didn't mind it, as their silence had led us to believe. But they do, so please comply with their wishes..
